Green Classroom

Green Classroom

London Fields Green Classroom

The Green Classrrom is a small wooded area on the edge of Martello St.

It is used by a number of schools and nurseries for outdoor play and education.

The area is very popular.

Current users of the space include:
– Ann Tayler Centre
– London Fields Primary School
– Gayhurst School
– The German Kindergarten

If you are interested in using the space for Green Classroom activities you can email the Council and discuss when other groups aren’t using it.

How we agree to use this space

Please respect the area and help it to remain a green and healthy space

Try to reduce the plastic brought in to the area and ensure any rubbish created is removed after your session.

If you tie anything to trees please make sure it is removed afterwards

Enjoy the plants and trees but be kind to them; pick leaves and branches off the ground not off plants that are still growing

Let the animals sleep in their homes. Teachers will show which logs can be moved and used for sitting and building. Other logs are wildlife homes and animals need their rest.

While we hope other Park Users will respect your space where you are using the Green Classroom it is still open to the wider public and you do not have exclusive use of it.

Areas that have been roped off have been planted with new plants and wildlife habitats have been built here. Please try and avoid walking and running in these areas.
